The Apprentice UK - week eight

Oh no! Sweet lovely Sara got fired. I suppose it was on the cards because she was in a team with people who didn't like her. But for the record Michael should have got fired - only Sir Alan gave him a pass again. Something about him reminds Sir Alan of his younger self.

The winning team was led by Lucinda, who proved once again that she's really good at being the boss. I think Lucinda, Lee and Raef have a good chance of amking it to the final.

One last thing - Claire. Is she desperate to find a boyfriend or something? Last week in Morroco she managed to engineer things so that she and Alex were buying goods while playing "boyfriend and girlfriend". This week, she got paired with Raef, and declares she is a "girly-girl" and loves weddings (the task involves selling wedding gear at an exhibition at the NEC) and then holds up a wedding dress up to her and declares "I really need to find a boyfriend". Luckily Raef had seen this coming. He not only tells Claire early on that he is not into marriage, but them starts joking about how overweight brides like cake (poor Claire is a plus size). Ouch. I'm betting that Claire tries the "I need a boyfriend" thing with Lee next week.
